There are many books written on how to be the best project manager, what tools one should use, and what the best technical methods are; however, there is oversight when it comes to the psychology of project management.

Project management requires one to wear many hats when dealing with groups internally and externally to the organization.  These hats mimic the four archetypes of the self originally created by Jung.

Warrior, King, Lover, Magician are the four types and understanding each will help the project manager deal with everyday situations in an optimal way.
